6月25日德國脊柱專家Markus Kroeber教授到訪廣東著名僑鄉(xiāng)——臺山,應(yīng)邀以客座教授身份訪問臺山市中醫(yī)院,開啟了一天深度交流之旅。清晨臺山市中醫(yī)院院長楊東亮以及醫(yī)院領(lǐng)導(dǎo)班子和骨傷科主任們提前在大樓下等候迎接,熱烈歡迎Kroeber教授的到來。在歡迎儀式上,雙方互相介紹了各自醫(yī)院和骨科的基本情況。隨后,楊院長陪同Kroeber教授實(shí)地走訪參觀醫(yī)院。Kroeber教授對中醫(yī)表現(xiàn)出濃厚的興趣,楊院長圍繞中醫(yī)理論、特色中醫(yī)療法等方面詳細(xì)與教授介紹,并特別介紹了中醫(yī)紅外線成像檢測技術(shù)。在中醫(yī)護(hù)理門診,楊院長還現(xiàn)場演示了針灸,緩解患者腰痛,直觀展示中醫(yī)神奇。下午,Kroeber教授前往骨一科(脊柱外科)與團(tuán)隊(duì)一同查房看診,并開展疑難病例討論,內(nèi)容涵蓋脊柱轉(zhuǎn)移瘤、骨質(zhì)疏松癥、退行性脊柱側(cè)彎、骨折翻修手術(shù)等,在交流互動中,雙方均獲益良多。Kroeber教授還前往骨二科(關(guān)節(jié)與運(yùn)動醫(yī)學(xué)科)參觀,了解該院開展的其他骨科手術(shù)技術(shù)。臨別之際,楊院長再次對Kroeber教授的蒞臨指導(dǎo)與經(jīng)驗(yàn)分享致以誠摯的感謝,并盛情邀請?jiān)俣葋碓L。Kroeber教授也同樣表示,非常感謝楊院長及其團(tuán)隊(duì)的盛情款待,與中國同道共度的這一天,充實(shí)、愉快、收獲非凡!
On June 25th, Prof. Markus Kroeber, a renowned German spine expert, visited Taishan, a famous hometown of overseas Chinese in Guangdong Province. He was invited to visit Taishan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine as a visiting professor, starting a one-day in-depth exchanges here. In the early morning, YANG Dongliang, President of Taishan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, along with the hospital's leadership team and directors of the Department of Orthopedics, had already gathered downstairs to warmly welcome Prof. Kroeber. At the welcome ceremony, both parties introduced the basic situation of their hospitals and orthopedics departments. Afterwards, President Yang accompanied Prof. Kroeber on a tour of the hospital. Prof. Kroeber showed a strong interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). President Yang gave a detailed introduction to TCM theories and characteristic TCM therapies, with a special focus on TCM infrared imaging detection technology. In the TCM care clinic, President Yang also conducted acupuncture treatment on-site to relieve a patient's low back pain, vividly demonstrating the wonders of TCM treatment. In the afternoon, Prof. Kroeber made ward rounds and conducted consultations with the team from the Department of Orthopedics I (Spinal Surgery), and held discussions on complex cases with them, covering topics of spinal metastases, osteoporosis, degenerative scoliosis, revision surgeries for fractures, etc. Both parties benefited a lot from the exchanges and interactions. Prof. Kroeber also visited the Department of Orthopedics II (Joint and Sports Medicine) to learn about other orthopedic surgical techniques carried out in the hospital. At the time of parting, President Yang once again expressed his sincere gratitude for Prof. Kroeber’s valuable guidance and insightful experience-sharing, and warmly welcomed him to visit again in the future. Prof. Kroeber also thanked President Yang and his team for their warm hospitality, noting that the day spent with Chinese colleagues had been thoroughly fulfilling, delightful, and incredibly rewarding.
